| It's not too late my Xanga buddies! I am walking in November to help find a cure for Breast Cancer! Please please please help out, any donations, large or small will help to find a cure for this disease! You can find the link to my page in the post below!
On another note, I have turned in my resignation at the hospital after 15+ years, and am going to work at the substance abuse facility through TDCJ as a counselor! It's something that I've always wanted to do, and now, I'm going for it! I've finished my classwork, and I'm almost done with my practicum! It's a new job, and I've got to say I'm looking forward to it!

You can click on the link below to go to my personal page. Thanks my Xanga buddies! http://08.the3day.org/site/TR/Walk/General?px=1513105&pg=personal&fr_id=1184
| Merry Christmas to all my wonderful Xanga buddies! I promise to be back with an update on life on the farm soon. As usual with the holiday season I've been working alot, and that's where I'm headed now. Have a wonderful day filled with love and family, both biological and the one we choose. | | |
| Yes, it's been forever and a day since I was here. Life somehow interrupted! How rude! Yeah well, that's what makes it life, right?
In the intervening few months (almost 4 yegads!)I've lost an employee, gotten to work major overtime, which is no fun! I've hired and employee and had to train her, then thought I was going to lose her, kept on with the weight loss, made goal, and lifetime, though if you're an online member they don't look at it as official since they have no clue as to if what you're saying is true or not!
We've ridden a fair amount, though not really enough. Life has a way of intervening. Joseph turned 9! OMG is that possible? He's almost through his third grade year, and I am finding that time is going by too quickly. He is in Boy Scouts this year, and Little League starts a week from this coming Monday. He's looking forward to it. I forsee alot of quick dinners, which will mean some major planning on my part.
Mike's doing well, though at the moment he has a cold in his nose! With the weather being as squirrely as it's been I'm surprised that we all haven't been deathly ill. Something about being 97 one day and 54 the next, y'know? Good thing weather wise, we're supposed to get rain this weekend! We need it badly.
Almost work time. I'll try to be good and visit more often. I've been thinking of Xanga and my friends here, just have been swamped by life. Have a great St. Patrick's Day! Later!

This is Doc, the newest member of our clan! Joseph just got him last Tuesday, and they have been having a blast together. And I get my horse back! It's so much nicer to ride without having him behind me playing with my hair, trying to squeeze the stuffing out of me, grabbing my shoulders, or wiggling around! We've done a fair bit of riding, except for today when it was too windy.
While we're at it, how about a picture of the new puppy?

That was the day we got him. He was four months old. Isn't he adorable? He's gotten alot bigger, but I don't have a recent picture of him. I'll try to get one soon.
All here is perking along, had a busy Thanksgiving with working and the like, and the holidays are right around the corner! Time is flying by, which is just a bit scary. Weight Watchers is doing well, close to goal, and feeling better, most of the time. At the moment I'm sick, but this too shall pass.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and that you didn't eat too much turkey or dressing! Have a great evening. Later!
